We stayed for a night stop-over during a motorbike trip. The hotel met our expectations, with clean rooms and facilities. We didn't really have time to explore Saint-Dizier downtown, which is not far from the hotel but definitely not walking distance away. We love this hotel. We stop here every year coming back from Italy. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly, nice and helpful people. We have never had a problem there. The restaurant next door is very good too. The food has rustic and up-to-date food.

It is easy to reach, has ample free parking and is very quiet. Our room was a good size and with a great shower and the bonus of a coffee machine. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food, regularly topped up. Although the hotel is located on a commercial park, there are several restaurants nearby. The Italian across the road is pleasant and good value.

You'll find chickens roaming around the grounds and their eggs are available to enjoy at breakfast time. Breakfast included an excellent selection of breads, cheeses, pastries and fruit. Our room was spacious, very well decorated and especially quiet. The owners live in the main building (pictured) and the rooms are located in the adjacent renovated coach house.

Two rooms, so we could put the kids to bed, but TVs both sides, so suitable for 4 adults. Fridge, toiletries, large premium finished bathroom. Everything was spotless and friendly. What more could you ask. This should be a nice English 3Star / French 4Star ;-). I think Brits will know what I mean. It was a bit off track for a North/South drive, but we will be looking for BritHotels again in the future
