I was enthralled with the buffet every single meal. Such diversity, plenty of food, from healthy options to some of the options more appealing to kids. Lowered tables with food so the bigger kids can take their own meals. Ice cream cart, chocolate fountain and also so many options for grown ups. The staff is extremely friendly, patient with kids and nice in general. There are so many possible activities for kids.

The historical history of the building. It was in the old city so we had easy access to the sites. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfasts were exquisite using local breads cheese and tomato’s. If you are looking for a hotel Ritz this is not for you but if you want to try and learn about the culture of the area it is PERFECT!
Hotel Katarina is situated on a wonderful island across from the historic center of Rovinj. The island, sharing its name with the hotel, is the second largest island within the Rovinj Archipelago.

We liked very much the old town streets, the sunset views and walking by the seaside. But the restaurants and shops are too touristy. They don’t have personality. We would have like to eat some typical food, but there were non.

Rovinj is a wonderful and unique city in the Mediterranian.
Rovinj is a wonderful and unique city in the Mediterranian. Though we have visited Rovinj at wintertime the weather was fantastic and the city itself was lively though basicly we could meet basicly with locals, who were so kind to us by the way.
You can really enjoy the old city part, which is uniqe and a must see location! There are nothing in a far distant so if You travel there by car you can put that down and you can discover marvellous locations.
There are local shops in the downtown but the supermarkets are also not far away! There is a recreational area situated south from the old city which is also a must visit place and you can enjoy the beach area there also. The city and its neighbourhood is ideal for families, seniors, and companies as well and I highly recommend to see that for everyone!

Hotel Grand Park - Bathroom adjustable mirror too high up, could not see in it. Safe too high to reach or see in it.
Plants outside balcony on 2nd floor rooms spoiled view, they had apparently cost a fortune but were a mess, not tended and grown too high.
Top rail on edge of property, ie room balcony and restaurant, was in direct line of vision when seated so interrupted view. Hotel should have a re-think about this. Maybe flowers would be nice with an irrigation system, would greatly enhance the ambience

Vibrant town with a lot of activities, breathtaking beaches and time to relax and spend time with loved ones.
No clubs or loud noise, and the town dies down at around 11pm or midnight. You can not make a mistake with food - anywhere you go, you will have a tasty meal. Opt for "pljukanci" - traditional Istrian pasta - whenever it is on the menu.
Close to the beach, but still out of all the crowd. Pay attention to their store as you can buy seasonal veggies and fruit from there.Their wine is great too! We actually had a dinner at their place as we were too tired to go to town. We had some bred, their olives, their figs, few different types of cheese, some cold cuts of meet and tried few tupes of their wines. Their breakfast was one of the best we had in 3 weeks touring Greece. Italy and Croatia. Both Samantha and Karen are great and helped us answering all the questions we had.
Our stay at Casa Banko was absolutely amazing. We traveled a lot throughout the years, but never had we met such outstanding hosts, beautiful and clean accommodation, and had great time on our vacation. Jadranka and all other members of her family, spoiled us, and made us feel like we are in 5 star hotel. Everything is extremely clean, hosts are very responsive to any requests you might have, location is excellent. I highly recommend Casa Banko to any traveler, book without a doubt- you would have the most wonderful time ever!!!
Very nice hotel, variety of beaches, many activities to do, very good massage and spa, nice swimming pools and Jacuzzis, the food was excellent. We were on half board basis and both breakfast and dinner were very tasty with good varieties. The room had a very nice view. The hotel helps you park your car in their private parking before you take the shuttle boat to the island which is an enjoyable 20 minutes trip by itself. There’s a shuttle between the hotel and the main land of Rovinji every hour.
A unique hotel with pleasant interior decor. Amazing customer service, Olga was so helpful, looked after our needs and prepared a splendid spread of breakfast every morning. The location of the hotel was superb, just a few meters from the waterfront, at the foothill of the old town. The room was spacious and comfortable and looked out on the beautiful harbour view. The hotel provided a buggy that transported us and our luggage from the carpark to and from the hotel.
We rested at Maistra Select Amarin Resort with family for 10 days in early September. The large two-story room had everything you need: two bedrooms, a kitchen with a large living room with a full set of dishes and kitchen equipment. The room was clean and towels changed daily. The great advantage of the hotel are a huge area, large beaches - open and in pine trees, a large warm bay, a great view of the Rovinj. Perhaps this is one of the best options in Croatia.
If you want to feel like home, you should choose this apt. Highly recommend.
See you soon, and thank you for amazing vacay.
Perfect location. Very important thing that you are in old town, but you don’t hear crowd.
Stores in 50m area: market, pizzeria, boutiques, bakery, restaurants, other stores, laundry service, etc.
Thank you once again dear host. It was a pleasure 🙏
We got the room with simply the best view of the Rovinj city - in the combination with the ideal weather, it was very romantic.
The boat service (free for hotel guests) to the island and back is superb and on time. Nice breakfast/dinner ambient in the restaurant.
The hotel is located on its own island and there are nice (short) walking routes around the perimeter.
This is the cleanest apartment i have stayed at. And also everything looks and newley renovated, neat. Had some fresh fruits on the counter for us .
The place is great for sightseeing in Rovinj, literally few minutes walk to old town. And also close to the beaches and marinas.
The owner is super nice and will be happy to help you during the stay.
I highly recommend
Perfect little boutique hotel in Rovigno. The rooms are comfortable and have all the amenities needed. We were even given a free upgrade to a Seaview room since it was quiet when we visited. Breakfast was nice, they offered cooked eggs in the morning and the usual continental style breakfast. We loved our stay and would definitely return!
It was in the heart of the city, and the staff made you feel like family! They were so gracious and kind. We were introduced to beautiful Croatia by such lovely people. Also a plus was the complementary bikes that we took to the park. Breakfast was wonderful. Old world style with much charm!
Exceptionally gracious and helpful hosts! The location is within easy walking distance to nearby beaches ,the wonderful harbor, the old town and many many restaurants! Parking and super breakfast on site a real plus as well. Rovinj is a great town and Rooms Barbieri is THE place to stay!
Excellent service! Very nice, modern and comfortable hotel! Extremely helpful staff! They tried to help us with everything - to recommend a restaurant for lunch, making reservation, taxi, e.c. Hotel is in the new part of the town but close to the old town.
Amazing property on the island overlooking Rovinji old town. Very friendly and professional crew always supportive. 5 minites bout ride to the old town. Beautiful hidden beaches and park on the Island. We didn't want to leave.
Excellent hotel. good location for forest, not to far to walk to old town. great pool area. plenty of sun beds. we had half board, the food was lovely, plenty of choice, and all piping hot.
The family mobile homes are very clean, well furnished and comfortable, and the site includes a nice pool, beach and volleyball courts. The water taxi that goes to Rovinj is practical.
Great location in Rovinj. On the sea in old town and on the ‘quiet’ side. Beautiful sunsets. Easy walk to restaurants, shop, beach and church. Just be prepared for steps.
Close to the old town around 7 minutes by walking. The hotel provides you a parking ticket which you can use around the parking places at beach and close to the hotel.
